One does not have to look further than the Associated Press’ NFL All-Pro teams to see the University of Alabama’s dominance in the National Football League.
On Friday, the AP released its All-Pro teams and six former Alabama players were named.
Josh Jacobs (running back; Las Vegas Raiders), Quinnen Williams (defensive tackle; New York Jets), Patrick Surtain II (cornerback; Denver Broncos), and Minkah Fitzpatrick (safety; Pittsburgh Steelers) were first-team selections.
Jalen Hurts (quarterback; Philadelphia Eagles) and C.J. Mosley (linebacker; New York Jets) made the second team.

Hurts is the lone one of the six in the NFL playoffs, but all players were impactful. All six assisted the Crimson Tide to at least one national championship during their tenures in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Jacobs and Williams are looking for big paydays as they have outperformed their rookie contracts. Surtain is growing as one of the best young cornerbacks in the league while Fitzpatrick anchors the Steelers’ defense. Hurts eyes an opportunity of having a deep playoff run and a chance to win the Super Bowl.
