Political commentator and noted author Nick Adams is vocal about sports. However, his latest remarks on the LSU upset win against Alabama in OT did not go well with the NFL fans. Several users asked Donald Trump’s favorite author to stop tweeting about the game.

Earlier, the No.10 LSU Tigers downed the No. 6 Alabama Crimson Tide 32-31 in overtime. The result has sent the SEC West, SEC, and College Football playoff dreams into a spin. A dramatic result downplayed by heavy criticism has made Twitter users ask what happened to the young author.

A user gave a sharp response.

Dude I follow you and agree with a lot of your politics but going bringing that into football is too much. Football coaches aim to win not be “Woke”

— Mike Evans 🏈 (@Coach_MikeEvans) November 6, 2022

Another fan pointed out the overuse of the word, ‘woke’.

This man will call anything “woke”

— TropicalTaquito (@TropicalTaquito) November 6, 2022

Meanwhile, a user offered some sarcasm.

What does out-woke look like in a football game? 🤡 Are you feeling okay or just not getting enough attention?

— Marilyn Kay Wheatley (@MarilynKayWhea2) November 6, 2022

This fan asked about the boycott.

Pretty sure you said you were boycotting, Nickster.

— Colin McKnight (@ColinKMcKnight) November 6, 2022

Another fan repeated the same views.

Maybe it’s time for you to boycott NCAA football then

— Mr. Roman (@ElchapoNinja) November 6, 2022

Clearly, most fans are unhappy about the tweet.

Nick Adams is really upset

Talking about the game, the 37 YO said he felt disgusted while watching it. He added both teams did not deserve a win. Meanwhile, Adams cast doubts on the abilities of the QBs and remarked the HCs made stupid decisions. Several fans disagree with his thoughts on the game.

This user posted a GIF.

This fan thought it was a great game.

Bro that was a great game a a running QB is part of it. That’s why BAMA has won so many games

— Donald (@donshea778) November 6, 2022

Meanwhile, a user thought Adams was wrong.

Nick Adams on a heater 2nite 😂😂😂

— GJTucker (@VegasGregin) November 6, 2022

Another fan echoed a similar view.

This user thought he never played football.

Pretty sure he’s never played football!

— Armyvet13B🇺🇸 (@jbowman22) November 6, 2022

A vast majority of the fans think the Tweet is sour in taste. They also made fun of the word usage ‘out-woke’ and requested the NFL fan to observe the game before expressing his opinions.

NFL fans loved the high drama

It was a stunning upset. No one saw it coming. Meanwhile, the result has put Brian Kelly’s group to record back-to-back wins. The last minutes of the clash saw great drama. However, The Tigers converted the two-point try to give the Tide a second loss on the season. It has likely put an end to the latter’s College Football Playoff hopes.

Close games are a rare combo of excitement and tension. The fans always give a thumbs-up to high-octane clashes. In 2021, Tom Brady engineered a dramatic victory as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Dallas Cowboys 31-29 in the NFL season-opener. The game is all about scoring well under pressure. Perhaps that is where the beauty of a game is unveiled to the fans.
