Jerry Jeudy delivered the best game of his NFL career, as he fueled the Denver offense to its best game of the season.
The former Alabama wide receiver had 3 touchdowns, and by midway through the fourth quarter, Jeudy had 8 catches for 73 yards and 3 touchdowns on 8 targets. Jeudy is the first Broncos player with 3 receiving touchdowns in a game since Demaryius Thomas on Nov. 23, 2014 against the Dolphins. Jeudy had 3 receiving touchdowns over his prior 20 games combined entering the day, according to ESPN Stats and Info.
The Broncos trail 34-28 with less than 6 minutes remaining, but those 28 points are a season-high for a team that has struggled on offense. Jeudy’s third touchdown catch also came from Brett Rypien after Russell Wilson left the game following a hard hit near the goal line.
