Auburn linebacker and team captain Owen Pappoe told the world via Twitter on Tuesday that he will enter the 2023 National Football League Draft.
Pappoe racked up 92 tackles, 2.5 forced fumbles, and picked off a pass during the 2022 season. He had 10 tackles, including eight solos, in his final game against Alabama during the Iron Bowl loss.
Teammates Colby Wooden and Derick Hall announced their entry into the draft earlier on Tuesday via Twitter and other social media platforms.

Pappoe bounced back from several injuries in 2021, in which he missed eight games, to play a full season in 2022 with 12 games. A defining moment in his career happened during the Penn State game at Jordan-Hare.
The former five-star recruit suffered an injury that limited his play in 2021 at Beaver Stadium against the Nittany Lions. His bone-crushing hit on Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford was a highlight reel moment and a bit of redemption for Pappoe.
